Description:

Reaction-Bonded Silicon Carbide (RBSC) Sagger is a high-performance refractory container fabricated from high-purity silicon carbide (SiC) powder via reaction-bonded sintering technology. This process incorporates silicon (Si) as a binder, forming a dense microstructure under high temperatures while controlling shrinkage (≤3%) to ensure high dimensional accuracy and minimal deformation. The sagger typically features a square or circular shape with a smooth surface and can be customized into specialized geometries (e.g., U-shaped, arched, or perforated designs) to meet extreme industrial requirements such as high temperatures, strong corrosion, and rapid thermal cycling.
